Latin Link International Day of Prayer

So it turns out today is the Latin Link international day of prayer. Latin Link teams around the world take different 3 hour slots so that there is a latin link team somewhere praying for the entire 24 hours. We were lucky in that our slot was 6-9pm, not some obscene hour of the morning! In Colombia, there are Latin Link teams in 3 places: Abi and the striders in Bogotá, Fiona and others in Medellin and us in Santa Marta, so we split the 3 hours between us. We didn't actually find this out until about 30mins before we were due to start praying, but that is just how life works here! We were due to have a prayer meeting with church tonight anyway (they happen 3 times a week, the commitment is incredible!), so we asked them to pray with us for the different requests we had been given. It was a really nice evening and so great to know that the church here are willing to support us and our organisation, as well as us being here to support them.
