Laundry Day

So today I learnt how to do laundry here. Or rather, I tried to learn how to do the laundry here. You put stuff into the washing machine, then through a series of buckets, one of which has Downy in (we think this is fabric conditioner but we're not entirely sure) and then into the spinner before hanging it out. However the order of the buckets is forever changing, sometimes clothes go into a bucket before the washing machine, sometimes a bar of soap appears and I'm expected to understand and remember this! I'm sure by the end of the time here I will understand what on earth is going on, but right now, I do not!
