Mighty Oak

Some very heavy rain has freshened up the colours round and about and provided some welcome refreshment for the gardens. This is, I guess, a very old Oak which has some impressive boughs spreading out from the trunk. The foliage on the ends of the branches is getting fairly sparse, so maybe its days are numbered.
