Highs and lows

Had a lovely day - headed into town for OBDs newborn photoshoot (the second part of the bump to baby gift experience my sis got me for Christmas). She was a rockstar for the photographer - well not literally as her head banging is a bit lacking at the moment - and think there will be some great pictures. The only challenge will be deciding what we want without spending a fortune. Then met mum and dad for lunch in John Lewis including our free cake and coffee. They had more gifts for us from some of their friends - I know I've said before but the amount of cards and gifts has astounded me - one from a couple i may have met a few times and the other from their next door neighbour who randomly went to school with the fella. Picked up a few bits for OBD - she's an expensive girl! - before heading home and just chilling.

Missed my afternoon nap so feeling very tired and emotional now. But the fella is being amazing and supportive and the ups far outweigh the downs. I'll just have to have an early night. Please!
