big tree.....

day 3 of our khao yai adventure and we headed off after a hearty breakfast of pot noodle and cake through the jungle to the wildlife viewing point 5k away.

crossing raging torrents of river water, climbing over massive tree trunks and tracking the ever elusive howling baboon were only the start of our adventures ;)

well maybe not quite. but we did find this big tree with it's amazing network of roots about half way through the walk.

headed back to the camp dreaming of cold leo beer after a hard days trekking only to find that khao yai is a 'dry' national park. hurumph.......
