Cool hot poker

The amazing primula - which doesn't look like a primula at all - is P. viallii, originally named P. littoniana. Native to Yunnan and Sichuan in China, it's a short-lived perennial which apparently likes to be grown in boggy places, something I have yet to try! Very striking.
