Big Gulp
Take a good look (closer, please) at this cactus wren curved-billed thrasher swallowing a long, deep drink of the cool, refreshing water I replenished a short time before.
In the pre-dawn and early morning hours, the dish is a popular watering hole for a variety of birds, most of whom, unfortunately, I see when I don't have my camera with me!
