Organic Ann
Up early and took Juno fro a long weekend morning walk. It was dark, it was thawing and it was bl**dy slippy. At one point I could not move in any direction in fear of falling or the splits(well as far as I could go).
Met a couple of dogs and Juno played with them.
I was at the Botanics in Edinburgh for a grafting course today, got the bus half way, the whole student population appeared to be getting on the bus at one stage, I assume a field trip to the zoo.
Interesting course, playing with knives and bits of wood. Managed to bring 5 grafted living(?) bits home, Kilmarnock Willow(4 grafted willows at top), 2 Dawyck Gold(Veneer graft) and 2 wisteria (cleft graft).
I wonder if any will grow and survive.
Going to order some root stock and graft apple and plums.
This lady is from Northumberland and we shared the same bench space. She is going to try and graft some apples trees in her garden that are not in good condition to keep the variety going.
