Peas Fanatic
Just be thankful you couldn't hear all the protesting that was going on during this. He just couldn't understand how we didn't just open a tin or a bag of frozen peas instead of putting him through this torture. As much on the floor as in the bowl by the time he finished...
Back when I started all of this blipping malarkey, Euan was a regular in my journal, willingly coming along on photo safaris and helping out with whatever odd request was thrown at him. Now that he's practising at being a proper surly teenager he's not on as often, but we still have our moments. He's now into his last week of school before the summer holidays, having moved into fifth year of high school and on to a new timetable. Most of this seems to consist of PE (he's decided he wants to try and work in this area) and the reason he's sporting this classic Scottish tan look (red arms, red legs, blue everywhere else - including the give away sock line around his ankles). He did really well at last week's school sport's day, with a javelin gold and two silvers for the 100m and the 100m relay, and is now competing in the same events this week at the County school's meeting.
Expending all that energy must be why he sleeps his brains to train oil when he gets the opportunity I guess.
Good work Bud...
The title: was listening to a radio documentary featuring teenagers talking about growing up in the 1980s and as I was uploading one young lad was on about how he thought World War III would kick off soon, but he hoped he'd at least get to 27 before that happened, because, he said "..that's old enough". He then spoke about CND and said he was a 'peace fanatic'. Perfect.
