Clutching at straw

Yesterday I found out my ex is starting a new family. I was upset, so I went to a friends for the night. I managed to upset ex-MIL along the way.
I called in at this farm to see if I could buy some straw, but he only had big round bales, and I don't need that much for our strawberry patch!!
Anyway, I have dealt with it, and now I feel a bit numb, a bit dumb (I naively though it wouldn't happen) and a bit interested!
