Apples revisited

Another grey and cold day; it's starting to annoy me... Today I went to a bookstore to buy a book on photography. Now that I have this fancy camera, it's high time to learn somewhat more on the topic and get comfortable when not using automatic settings. I have used other settings before, but the results were rather unpredictable. I hope this will improve in the near future...

Inge's chickenpox are slowly fading away and the last couple of nights have been relatively quiet. It's good to feel rested when the day starts!

Five days ago, I did a blip about apples. I didn't really like the shot and the joke in the write-up, but I wanted to get a blip out. I've been giving the idea in that shot some thought and today I have produced a similar shot. I think this one works out a lot better.

If the weather forecast is correct, it's going to be more of the same the next couple of days. Inspiration for indoor shots, please come to me! And now I'm off; today the girls baked some brownies and this time I'm going to eat some before history repeats itself.
