IT WORKED.

Yesterday's heal-appeal, that is. Today we both were able to don warm gear, grab stick and camera and make a foray out into the world again to post a letter. (The fact that I forgot the letter at home didn't really matter).
We were so delighted to be a part of it all again, I couldn't contain this blip to one mere pic of our encounters...only a collage will do.
Encounter No. 1. - An Ice Man. Isn't Nature clever?
Encounter No. 2. - A large dog who was dying for a pee. He took up half the pavement, so his nattily-clad owner dragged him into the grounds of a nearby hotel to a large pee-tree. I wasn't in the right place to shoot the relief on his face.
Encounter No. 3 - My favourite passing doggie, a little fluffy creature that stops for all the petting you care to give and then would love to follow you home. That leash is there for a purpose. Nice boots, too.
