MAGIC MUTI

Can't get out to the doc today - me no walk, taxi no go, me no go.

We shall have to send a heal-appeal to one of Mundy's West African artefacts like this extraordinary magic woman. She's lost arms, toes and headdress in her several long travels with him, but still wears her beaded magic muti bottle and a couple of trinkets she has acquired along the way. I love the expression on her face - a kind of calm contemplation in three simple lines.

Somehow, she goes well with Mundy's colourful little painting behind her - called Devil on my Shoulder. She also matches the Baaba Maal music I'm playing on Spotify.

So it's African remedies today. I'll tell you if they worked their magic tomorrow.
