Praying Mantis in Winter!!

Surprised to spot this in the sunny garden today
mid winter!! It looked lovely on the purple yarrow
a gift from a friend....the yarrow not the mantis!
Friends arriving for drinks who have just returned from
Srilanka...must dash...happy evening
