Persuasion

Persuasion: day 29 of the 100 days of summer. Persuading the newly planted seeds to grow up.

We all slept last night, a whole night through. I felt like a new woman this morning. Miss Pink slept in until nearly 1o, and woke up much perkier than last night. It didn't last all day, but she was a happy chicken first thing! Master Pink had a few new pox hatching, but most are beginning to heal over. He seemed a bit more himself this afternoon too, so I'm hoping and praying that he has turned the "pox" corner!

We've spent most of the day doing jobs or being outside in the garden. The mini pinks have spent rather a lot of time watching telly and playing games, BUT they are both under the weather, so they are excused! I got the garden looking tidier and finally planted some seeds that should have been planted a month ago. Hopefully I'm not too late, and the water and sunshine will persuade them to grow.
