Dragons

Boats and flies, lots of them on the River Severn in the Quarry, Shrewsbury today.
Dragon boat races, Dragonflies and the Shrewsbury Half Marathon, which we missed! Had a bit of shopping to do first and then couldn't get anywhere near town with the car as most of the roads into town were closed for the events. Still we parked outside a friend's house and enjoyed our walk in.

Mr T and I have had a lovely day, very, very warm but we enjoyed sitting on the bank of the River watching the Dragon Boats, watching the many dragonflies flitting about and listening to the Chester Brass Band.

Dreadful composition here but the coxwain's smile reflects the spirit of the day.
