Summer in the country

The genius of colour....what can I say?

This field of poppies was so spectacular, I had to stop the car and take a picture. A few other people followed suit. Were they fellow blippers?

Today has been another beautiful summers day. Just gorgeous. I had lots to do - gardening, house tidying, washing, college work....but it's all ok when the sun keeps shining. And now all is done, I have a chilled glass of wine and I am sitting outside waiting for H to come home.
