Flitting about

I went up the Tutaki to a friend's house this afternoon and although I should have been inside socialising, a half a dozen fantails lured me outside instead. They were all flitting about catching insects and stealing moths and flies out of spiders webs. Their Eep Eep Eep's filled the air and a tui joined in for the chorus.

It was a glorious blue sky day - though was only about 8 degrees (Celsius). Typical of winter afternoons in our area.
