Group Hug

After Granny and Grandpas terrible day with Ethan & Eden yesterday, we hoped they would be better behaved for us today.

It didn't start well with them getting up at 6.15am, eventually deciding they were hungry and couldn't wait for the grown ups to get them breakfast, going downstairs, bring up 2 bags of cereal and spoons , eating it upstairs out the bag and leaving a trail of cereal all over the place!

Hubbie eventually got up with them, while I drifted back to sleep. After I got up, I took them both to gymnastics, to give hubbie some peace and quiet. Ethan, Eden and Ethan's pal Anna had a spontaneous group hug afterwards which was very cute! I then took them to the Croc shop to buy them some jibbitz- after much negotiation they walked away with 6 new ones each for their current shoes!

Back home for lunch, then hubbie and I took them to Ikea. We're wanting to get some new storage for the playroom so thought we'd start looking there. For the first time, we took advantage of the crèche at Ikea and put both kids in for an hour. It wasn't long enough for us to really decide what we wanted to buy though but was the longest session available. We also had dinner there before returning Eden home to Bathgate.

Hubbie is now on a "Dads night out" with some of the Dads from Ethan's nursery - hope it's going well as it's the first time the Dads have socialised together!
