Medieval Madness

We've had a very productive day today.

Up and out into town early. We met grandma & grandad and they took P for us whilst we went to the bank to get a few bits and pieces sorted. Little A was a star and even though we were in there for ages he was a happy little chappy.

Once we were finished we regrouped and headed to the heritage festival that was being held in the cathedral grounds and market square. There was loads to see. From birds of prey to battle re-enactments and from WW1 memorabilia to Morris dancers!

P had a great time in the kids zone and tried out lots of things. Grandad even had a go on the stilts and was surprisingly very good!

After lunch and ice creams in the sun we headed home. I mowed the lawns and Mr J cooked tea. A man from eBay came to collect our old Moses basket stand and my decluttering mission is one step closer. Result!
