What a difference a day makes ....
After 24 hours of rain heavy yesterday, this morning there were still some clouds over the mountains in the distance, but a clear sky and (almost) warm sunshine here. There were some small signs of spring - a mimosa tree in a garden in Magalas is about to flower. On the way back from Magalas I noticed that all the olive trees looked silvery as the north wind (the dry one) was turning up their leaves. These vines with the hedge of olive trees at the far end are at the top of the hill above our garden. I like the way, in a winter vineyard, you can see the way the rows of vines follow the contours of the land.
