Keeping the crows at bay

We defrosted the freezer. Hector took great interest in the whole process. Investigating the contents of my low level kitchen cupboards or yesterday, my freezer, I suddenly realised that I was sharing the cavity with Hector and we were both looking in together! What company in such a limited space.

After emptying the freezer, there was a lot of old bread crusts which I cut up for the birds and placed on the bird table this morning. Three crows landed much to Hector's disgust. Hence his standing here. He is now exercising his vocal chords at them and chasing them away as I post this.
