A busy day with the arborist here. The cypress trees are now much shorter and there's sunlight coming in through the eastside windows which makes me happy. These Leyland Cypress trees are a problem and shouldn't have been planted in this location (they were here when we bought the house) and they're not doing well, the arborist thinks they only have a year or two left before they need to come out. Gives us some time to think about what to do next.

The rhododendrons are doing great which is wonderful to hear as they are 100 years old, if not older.
