1st day home

Well I did not expect to have every window in the house wide open and the blinds down in the sunroom! I even had to scrabble deep in drawers to find shorts and a vest top - Hot!
AD was in despair when he saw my miserable efforts before taking himself off to the pub to drink a proper beer after over a month of lager.
He rejected the sweet pea jungle which has taken control of most of the front garden. He thought the cluster of roses were colourless, the cactii in the sunroom were boring, the blue pot with the little blue flowers was "something and nothing" and he remained silent as he contemplated the sage in the half beer barrel. The herb corner won the day and on the strength of that I shall venture forth and purchase some additions.
