Lamp Post

At the Winter Gardens today with the kids for something outdoors to do as we're all fed up being in the house! I was playing with the sepia on the camera taking shots of the kids, and thought I'd see how this old lamp post looked in it. That's solid ice in the background. I love the result :)

Krystal got a new kids camera for Christmas, much better than the one Kory got 2 years ago, so we decided to let him have our old Sony one. I gave him it today and he took it with us. He was so cute asking "Am I doing a Blip Mummy?" as he knows when I go taking shots of odd things I'm "Blipping" - that I decided he could indeed be blipping.

So now he has his own Blip Account where I'll randomly upload photos from his camera. I'm not sure it'll be daily, but as and when he uses it. Please feel free to subscribe too :)

Edit: I've just freaked myself out when I looked on my 1 year ago today photo. I was at the Winter Gardens then too. We hardly ever go there either. Worse I very nearly blipped a cactus today! this happened twice last week I did same things on same days. Weird. Groundhog Year anyone?
