old mill
I have often walked past this building knowing it was an old olive oil mill. There has been talk that they would rennovate it so the public could view it as it was in its working years.
However the doors were always closed on previous journeys to the shops. I was a little scared about going inside, hence the image alignment isn't great, for fear i would find myself being shouted at severly by some old (not sure why HE has to be OLD???) turkish man, in turkish!!!! so i took a quick one blip and fled unharmed.
I hadn't noticed the pigeon on the machinery begin flight at the time i blipped so it was a nice touch i thought, i captured something i wouldn't ordinarily have seen, a hidden moment.
the colours are obviously not real but i wanted to create an atmophere of forgotten times therefore the image not be too clear.
i hope some of that makes sense and you too can see it and understand it.
its a strange choice for me to pick this image for here but it made me look twice so i'm thinking there's something there???
