En famille

Long and fairly hot drive up to Wrexham today with a full car and a toddler, made much better by a lunch picnic stop at Hopwood Park services near Birmingham: the nicest services I've been to in ages complete with lake, water fountain and children's playground.

Big meal out tonight with my sister, her husband and Charlie's 4 cousins, it was lovely to get everyone together after quite a long time (for me & C) and the children did really well.

Interesting trying to get C to sleep in his own little sofa bed in our nice big hotel room. He wanted to sleep in my big bed and was giddy from seeing everyone of course. Luckily I like a challenge, I am now hoping for a late wake up tomorrow ;-)
