Stupendous!

The Common spotted orchids are really beautiful this year! I think it is the best show I have ever seen!
I went back to Southwater country park after work today with my lumix (with the 200mm lens) to take a few 'arty' shots through the grass, this is probably the best of the bunch.
I quite like the way it gives the impression of what it was like lying in the orchid beds, with the sun illuminating the beautiful pale purple flowers, each with it's own unique markings. I love taking these shots best of all.
