Vigil

All souls sleep soundly,
As the dark bird keeps vigil,
Hunched still and silent.

.... This crow sat like this for ages ....I think it may have been asleep.

... thanks so much for comments on yesterdays cotton buds .... many of you saw star shapes, there were also some thoughts that the buds were bon bons, mint imperials or mothballs ... fascinating ...
