Night Creatures

I'm blipping late tonight because we have been out looking for Nightjars again, at a different location, nearer to home. We saw and heard one quite close by, but once again it was impossible to get a shot, even a silhouette, as it flew , darting about just above, then below the skyline. we also saw several Woodcock flying over - two lifers for Pete. Now, yesterday we found a UFO in the garden (unidentified fecal object), so I put out the trail cam last night, and was happy to see this little fella put in an appearance in the early hours.
Early start tomorrow, as it's another Longshaw Fungus Survey day.
