Chestnut Spread

My supply of French goods are dwindling, if not gone already. I've been waiting to open this can of chestnut spread, but it's time has come. Luckily, canned things don't go back so fast. I opened this little can to spread on some toast after dinner. (I felt like toast after dinner, so what. haha) My mom likes the spread, but I couldn't really taste it. It was really subtle and a bit plain. Tomorrow I'll have another go at.
