Backblip

A long bike ride today which didn't quite go to plan but which we thoroughly enjoyed. We started in Mortain, Normandy and did a circular route taking in Sourdeval and then back to Mortain. We had wanted to pick up one of the vois verte routes which was evident on the map but which in reality we couldn't find. In the end, it didn't matter too much as we picked up a rough route on some beautiful country lanes and although the weather was overcast, it was very warm and we enjoyed the day.

The house we are staying in has the most beautiful garden where this rose shot was in the evening light.
