Cornwall Day 1
A pretty leisurely start to our holiday - on the first train just before 10, on the second one at 11. The second was sliiiightly longer, and we got to Penzance at about 4.30. The journey was fine, apart from Graham getting humous on everything and the fact that I accidentally kicked him everytime I got up.
We dashed into Penzance before the shops closed to buy some groceries, then hopped on the bus to Mousehole. We found our house - up on a hill with the most ridiculous view.
It started drizzling as we unpacked, but we headed out anyway to explore the village, the rockpools and the harbour. There was a frightening moment as an old lady threw loads of food out of her front door for the seagulls just as we walked past. There were hundreds of them, all flying at our heads. There may have been some flailing.
Popped home for some food, then went out for another walk, this time in the other direction, back towards Penzance.
