Serenity...

Back blip...sending Monday morning from the Tampa airport as I await my flight back to Newark.

It was a great weekend. We did lots of exploring, had some wonderful meals, and enjoyed just being together. The best news of the day was that we have settled on the area where we want to live! We kind of fell in love with Tierre Verde, which is just a little south of St. Pete and only about 15 minutes from Hubs office. It's also very close to Fort DeSoto which is a major birding/wildlife hotspot. There are some beautiful single family home neighborhoods there and loads of townhomes and condos. So now we can narrow our search for a rental.

We stopped and took a little walk on the beach yesterday afternoon - watched sand crabs scurry into their holes while Laughing Gulls swooped overhead and a glorious pink Roseate spoonbill flew low over the water. Dinner in the delightful Gulfport neighborhood where we enjoyed a leisurely dinner at Pia's in the courtyard.
