Winding path

The dog and I headed off to Westonbirt for our walk today. I hadn't taken her there for a good while so she was very excited. We had the place almost to ourselves for some reason. They're gearing up for a concert so maybe people tend to avoid the place when that's going on, I don't know.

The day didn't start well. Husband couldn't find his work laptop anywhere and we spent ages looking for it, until we finally started to think someone must have opened the front door and taken it from the porch. But then thankfully someone at work found it - he hadn't even brought it home!

Then I get off to school with Nancy and we're almost at the gate when she says "Mummy, what about my pants?"

So I say "what do you mean, haven't you got any pants on?"

"No."

Hilarious! Thankfully, hubby was still at home and dashed up to meet us with some underwear. It was 'whole school' photo day today as well. I dread to think what might have happened if she hadn't mentioned it!
