A Rather Special Day

Well, I'm lagging behind in my blips, running a day late almost.

Today was a very full day, church-wise. The children's summer programme, VBS, concluded, also we had a baptismal service AND a Father's Day celebration which included a special luncheon of hot dogs and chilli! Very yum!!!

We have baptisms once a year (when the weather is warmer) and this year about 7 people were baptised and it is always such a special occasion. This is the pool on the top floor of the school we use for our services.

Rest of the day was spent relaxing, Martin received some nice presents and thoughtful words from the boys.

Of course I have missed my dad today, especially as the World Cup is on and I have fond memories of watching with him over the years.
