An old world...

The bright lights of Osaka fade into the background, a small town on the outskirts of Kyoto emerges from the dusk – we are in a different place, a different world...

The lights are dim here; they dance across the water of a low lying river where children play in the day. There is unused space. Locals go about their usual business inside cosy houses as we walk along a street with no one else on it. The night wraps around us and sends us as tired and weary travellers to the warmth of our accommodation. It welcomes us with creaky floors and soft breezes visiting through old walls. We wonder what tomorrow will bring.

There is an element of the unknown here – something not expected... but then the world is full of possibilities - you just have to open the door.
