Fish queue, this way

We did a walk along the river Otter today and found a lovely place to stop for our packed lunch.

This is a photo of a fish pass or ladder/staircase which has been constructed beside the river wide weir, restoring migratory fish runs to the river after a break of over 100 years. The pass was installed in 1999.
