Linnet

We caught the ferry over to Iona this morning. It's not a very big island, famous for it's abbey. We walked 10 miles traversing from south to north and then west to east and were lucky with the weather as a light rain fell as we caught the ferry back.
We saw this bird this morning. I'm sticking my neck out and think it's a male linnet although I am happy to be corrected.
