Wimpole Estate

No it's not I hear you say, it's a picture of a bud base with a hare and harebells on and of course you'd be right........we went to Wimpole today and I forgot both my cameras oh and the lovely cheesecake I had brought as a pudding for our picnic!!

Wimpole Hall is huge and indeed very stately, the formal gardens are, well, formal and not to my taste at all but the herbaceous borders and walled garden are amazing.

I couldn't resist this little Hare and Harebell vase!!
