A bit frail

Even if you're not a football fan, it feels like the morning after the night before.

Overcast, dull, heavy and a bit weary.
The rain has taken its toll, leaving the garden full of raindrops and a bit battered.

Everywhere is quiet - well it is Sunday.

But it somehow isn't depressing.

If you did see the game, there were signs of bright youngsters as well as the same miserable weak bits.

We hope it will all brighten up - I was going to say "because we're British" - but I suppose that ought to be "because we're English".......
