Surprise Postcard

It was a lovely surprise to receive this postcard from my friend Maryrose who has been holidaying on the Jurassic Coast with her Great Grandaughter. The card had two peas drawn by Sonnie. someone else on Blipphoto was only commenting recently that postcards are generally a thing of the past and indeed they are but it's still a delight to receive one. We particularly liked the Teddy-bear perched in the corner! I remember collecting postcards extensively in the '70's and Mum had quite a collection of old postcards at one time - the messages always make for interesting reading!
