Bertie

Today we collected Bertie from Happy Landings. It was actually quite nerve racking as we weren't quite sure how he would be. he has been through a trauma in his past when he was hit by a car and subsequently had a personality change.
He has to stay inside for a month until he settles but so far he has wandered around, eaten accepted some 'Dreamie treats' whilst occasionally deigning to have the top of his head stroked. However, it is as we were warned going to take a while for him to settle - he growls when we walk past him and hasn't according to the rescue centre purred in a very long time. I am sure given time that he will be happy with us. A game of patience !
