95 days to go

Unusually for a Saturday I was back in Edinburgh first thing in order to visit the "No Borders" Saturday School for Polish children which is held every week at Leith Academy and is one of a network work of such Polish language and culture Saturday schools.

The young people - from pre-school to end of secondary - and their teachers were hospitable and very interesting. Scotland needs to offer as much support as possible to such initiatives.

Later In the day I visited the Scottish Juniper Festival at Summerhall where Crossbill Gin - distilled in my constituency from Scottish Juniper - was amongst the exhibiting companies.
