Birthday Bash

Excuse the pun. Birthday gift from yesterday is this Sabian ride cymbal, to add to his Agean set. Made in New Brunswick, Canada, so getting very international. I am glad we have the electric kit at home ... with headphones.

Again, I really like the finish, especially the "raw bell" top.

My small Canon IXUS is giving sharper results on the manual digital macro setting than the Canon EOS 500D macro setting. A new macro lens is moving towards the top of my birthday wishlist.
