'Pear Tree Cottage'

Friday 13th and a Full Moon! This hasn't occurred since June 1919.

A very hot day today. I met with two friends from Yoga for lunch.... two hours of laughter and catch up chat....as we girls do!

Pear Tree Cottage is a house that I pass a couple of times a week when I go to my Line Dance classes....I think its so pretty. It is a Grade ll listed cottage, believed to originally date from the mid-1700's and was formerly the home of the Head Gardener to 'The Hoo' one of Willingdons larger historic properties. Notice the sundial on the front of the house....in between the two top windows.

It reminds me of the house that I used to draw when I was young. It is my dream cottage...but not the perfect dream....as it has no garden behind it. Still its nearly perfect!
