The sky and the sea

I got some of my film shots back today. Usually I get them developed with contact prints but this time I got them scanned so I could see them in detail. Well the result is a bit disappointing flat and a bit lifeless, while the contacts are usually bright and contrasty.

Of course, I could diddle them on the computer and make them look OK but then I'm back where I started.

So the lesson? Trust your instincts - if your going to go the road of film - stick with it

...and the picture? A rare day when the beach is dead calm, when the sky and the sea come together.
