Mersey River Festival

To Liverpool today, primarily to see the Mondrain exhibition at the Tate. Of course photography there was prohibited but the cake was fantastic. We ate art.

I didn't know there was a festival on, featuring numerous ships, one of them HMS Dauntless and another a work of art, The Dazzle Ship. There were also sailors, multitasking on the same ship as an Ernest Hemingway impersonator and some interested locals.

On another day, any one of these could have been today's blip but I enjoyed watching these dancers.
