Roses

This has been a super year for roses so far. Everywhere I go they are bursting with buds and flowers. I took these downtown outside a shop when I was walking to my car.
I had to do some shopping today for this weekend, On Saturday I have a baby shower to go to. My cousin, who lives out in California is coming home to celebrate with all her family here in New Jersey. It's going to be more like a family reunion that a baby shower but it should be fun.
Then on Sunday it's Father's Day here and so my kids and grandchildren will be here to see my husband and spend the day with him. At some point we'll go over to see my dad too.
Needless to say I had some gifts to buy and I ended up doing pretty good. I got home before the rain started too. Dinner followed by a quiet evening was the way the day ended up.
