Form an orderly queue

Feeling nervous on Anna's behalf about the first night of Bugsy Malone was quite distracting for most of the day. Fortunately the months and months of rehearsals paid off, all went well and the show was a lot of fun. Huge relief all round. Anna has headed off to bed filled with post-show high adrenaline and joyously wishing she could do more than one more show. Quite a few people came tonight including Peri who indulged Anna by asking her to sign his programme after the show. One of Anna's godmothers also came to the show and did a wonderful job of distracting me over dinner beforehand.

The other main event of the day was a biblical style bee swarm in the middle of our road. The bees have now taken up residence in a tree outside our house. We've called the council who will hopefully be able to do something but any bee experts with advice please shout!
